Lee Cao - Head drawing week 1

Sorry for the poop quality. I'm on vacation right now. Missing a couple.

Week 1 - Moni Hillman

I posted this in the comments on the demo post itself but I guess I'm supposed to create a new post here.

I went through the video and followed along and made some notes. I thought everything was explained well enough for me but it took some time to figure out how to do the forward facing down one. I'm still not certain about whether it's correct or not so I'd be interested in seeing how you would handle it.

Week 1 - Stephen Wang HW

I feel like the head shapes I draw are a bit off. Maybe it's the connection between the head and neck or that the top of the head is a bit flat. I also have trouble placing the mask on the angles looking up or down. I think the nose and mouth placement I put look a bit off.

Wasn't sure how "Clean" was it you wanted these so I cleaned up just a bit so that I could show a bit of the construction phase.

Week 1 Luigi Manese HW

I had/ have the most trouble with the poses where the head is looking down, most notably with the 3/4 head looking down pose

Any and all suggestions/feedback are appreciated

Thank you!

Week 01 - Calvin Leung HW

Hi, Everyone. Here's my Week 1 Homework:

Questions for Bryan:

1) I'm a little unclear on the measurements for the head looking completely up and completely down -  i.e., where we see the top of the head and bottom of the head. I think I was guesstimating during my homework for these poses. Could you clarify those measurements for us?

2) For the 3/4 views that are slightly tilted away and slightly tilted forward (which I interpreted as tilting toward the viewer), are there measurement differences if the head is slightly looking up or slightly looking down? I did my slightly looking away as tilted down, and my tilted forward is also tilted down.

3) For the front view looking down, I was unclear on how the chin will look. My chin tapered to a point at the end, so I was guessing. Could you clarify what the chin would look like?

4) I'm not sure if my ribcages for side views for slightly tilted away and titled forward are supposed to be 3/4 versus front. Please let me know if the ribcages should be adjusted.

Thank you!
